Diary Event

Following the Prime Minister's tentative easing of the lockdown measures yesterday, I am pleased to say that we will be able to open the course for play on Wednesday 13th May.

However, to accommodate a return to golf and while the very real threat of Coronavirus is still present in the community, there needs to be a change in the way we operate tee times. Until further notice, and to avoid social gatherings, there will be no block bookings. The BRS online tee booking system will operate from 8:30 am until 9:00 pm on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who are not already using the club BRS booking system and need assistance to get started please email the administration team at We will then contact you to talk you through the process.

With a reduced capacity on the course and high demand for play expected, bookings will initially be limited to 2 tee times per member per week. Course usage will be monitored, and these restrictions may be lifted at a later date depending on demand.
The guidance as of 11th May permits playing as two balls only and that can include a playing partner from yours or another household.

It is vital that all members adhere to all aspects of the protocol to keep everyone safe and in this respect, at appropriate times, a course marshal will be checking that golf is being played to the high standards requested.
